About Us... OMG! INC.

THE FASHION COMPANY, OMG Inc.
In the Spring of 2007, the thought of a dressmaking ~ or a fashion design studio~ grew from a light-hearted conversation between Kaddan Yue and Duchess Shepherd, both fairly new to Second Life.  Accustomed to multitasking areas of their busy lives, these two women, Kaddan Yue, CEO, and Duchess Shepherd, Head Designer, conceived the concept of a trendy, progressive boutique featuring clothing for men and women.  They were soon joined by Saiasunshine Fackler as President, whose retail expertise was and is well known for shoes and accessories, through her shops of S&G Footwear. These three became what is now known as OMG Inc. They dreamt, planned, and brought to reality a new and exciting concept for both the fashion world and the world of stock markets.

OMG Inc. Boutique had their Grand Opening, Saturday January 26, 2008, and it was a rousing success as guests arrived, and invited more friends to see the inventory, and the region maintained a constant flow for a 2 hour period.  Not bad for a fresh beginning in the fashion world.  The shop located on the Sununu sim, which still serves as company headquarters, and the main location, has tallied its more than 7k visitors since opening with affordability being the watchword.  Because of its success, other locations have sprung up in various fashion districts as well.  The company continues to evolve with its various products and seeks innovation in style and design.

The marketing of apparel for both ladies and gentlemen requires diligent updates.  There are so many evocative styles, and new designs and designer’s everyday in SL, and this company is now one of the players.  OMG Inc. has been recognized in many fashion publications, and produced 2 fashion shows this year, with more planned for the future.  For the ladies who started the company this was the plan all along... to branch out into other venues with a fashion label recognized in the community and by continuously updating and adding new items, sometimes weekly.  Kaddan has made a promise - to be open minded about all facets of the fashion industry, and to be willing to try anything, at least once.

THE STOCK COMPANY, OMG Inc.
This concept of making a fashion design company available to public as an investment is not only a first for Second Life, but another means of marketing that was unforeseen until now.  A fashion design company owned by the public?  How could that possibly work?  IT DOES,  and very handsomely too   OMG bounced from  its Initial Public Offering (IPO) perhaps a lot earlier than most stock companies had previously experienced, as a result of a large group of well meaning friends that recognized the opportunity and the realization of Kaddan's dream.
As a stock company, it has far outdistanced many other types of investment companies.  This is one whose product can readily be seen in the many store locations throughout Second Life's Grid.  This is a proven benefit for stockholders to judge as they make their investment decisions.  Stock ownership in OMG has already provided many rewards by way of Dividend Disbursements on a quarterly basis.  It is a generous return on investment.

THE FUTURE COMPANY, OMG Inc.
Because of the forward thinking Board Members of OMG Inc. Stock Company, and the excellent dedicated staff of designers of OMG Inc. Fashion Design Company, the future of OMG is destined to remain as a part of SL residents for a long time to come.  The guidance of the one company in these two venues promises to be an exciting formidable entity and will not only keep abreast of current SL trends, but it will and has shown innovation in its product line.  It has already made plans for expansion in other grids.  At present, the company owns land in Legend City Grid (formerly known has negotiated more on Open Life Grid.  As the monetary system becomes established in these worlds, and population grows (Linden free) so too will OMG Inc. have a presence.
If you have not had the OMG experience, now is the time.  We encourage comment with all areas of OMG and would appreciate any feedback and criticism.
